At CEC, we take safety seriously and provide the training, equipment, and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees and those we work with. We pride ourselves on being well versed and compliant with all aspects of OSHA regulations and training. Our employees are all HAZWOPER certified and most have additional certifications in areas such as trenching and excavations, electrical, first aid, asbestos, and DOT driving. Our services are provided in OSHA Level D protection; however, we can provide additional levels of protection as the job or situation requires. All our employees undergo specialized landfill gas training and we utilize combustible gas and hydrogen sulfide meters to assure a safe working environment for almost any work scope at a landfill. CEC has also voluntarily enrolled in a drug testing program with a national company, Nationwide Testing Association (NTA). All employees are required to pass an initial drug screening and then are put into a national pool and are from time to time randomly selected for drug testing; therefore, giving us the highest assurance that we operate and will continue to operate a drug free workplace.
